The Longo draws its roots at the source of three initiatory traditional dance of the Bantu people (Congo, Africa) Kimboa, Bobongo and Zebola, in which Elima Dely M'Putu (its founder) was initiated from an early age. In Lingala, Bantu means "those who proclaim their filiation with the Highest (Divin)." The Longo aims to re-establish this truth within ower being.

It is a dance, a philosophy of life, a spiritual path and a technique of grounding in oneself and to earth.

This conscious bodily practice allows through the movement, the intention, the breathing and the presence to oneself, to liberate our body from the emotional imprints of our past traumas, so that the soul can properly anchor and establish there its sacred dwelling . When the soul is anchored in the body, we are naturally grounded to the earth and we can manifest our divine potential in the world.

Dancing the Longo is to:

Harmonize the body, soul and spirit;
Allows life to dance in us, to find innocence, spontaneity and joy;
Reduce stress and tension, fluidize the body and calm the mind;
Spiritually grow and be fulfilled in consciousness;
Redevelop this bridge between heaven and earth;
Balance the right and left hemispheres of the brain as well as the masculine and Feminine energies within us.
